Hotel Elefant presents a portrait program of acclaimed composer and vocalist Kamala Sankaram at Brooklyn’s ShapeShifter Lab. ‘Martha’ for piano duo with Isabelle O’Connell and David Friend.

The program also includes the world premiere of a newly commissioned work by Sankaram for Hotel Elefant. The evening will be shared with Bombay Rickey, Sankaram’s five-piece surf rock/cumbia/Spaghetti-western/Bollywood/etc. outfit, praised as “delightfully outlandish… a true treat for the adventurous ear” (Time Out New York).
